Receives Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete Award

Scott Price was named as one of 190 recipients of the National
Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) 2008 Daktronics-NAIA
Baseball Scholar-Athlete award.
The awards are handed out annually to the most outstanding NAIA student-athletes in the NAIA.
The criteria for the award is as follows: recipient must be a junior or above in academic standing, have a cumulative 3.5 GPA or better on a 4.0 scale and have been in attendance at nominating institution for one full academic year.
Mount Marty (S.D.) University and Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) University have the most on the list with seven selections each.
Other Scorpion student-athletes receiving the award within the last academic year include women's golfers Allison Valles and Annette Valdez and volleyball player Katie Japp.
