Scorpions End Golf Season in
Florida at PGA Minority Golf

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- The UTB/TSC men’s
and women's golf teams begin
play Friday, May 9, in the 22nd
Annual PGA Minority Collegiate
Golf Championship, ending the
2007-08 golf campaign.
Three rounds of 18 holes each will be played in the men's and women's divisions. The Scorpion men's team will be competing against four other NCAA NAIA universities, while the Scorpion women golfers will compete against seven other teams from around the nation.
Scorpion men's and women's golf coach Bob Lucio took seven players from the men's team and five players from the women's team to Florida.
Competing on the men's side for the Scorpions are Anthony Lopez, Nate Atkins, Chris Milligan, Jones Mitchell, and Brock Crosson. Victor Calzada and O.J. Moreno are competing as individuals.
Competing on the women's side are April Martinez, Andrea Cadriel, Tara Calderon, Annette Valdes and Allison Valles.
