A Disappointment for Women Golfers in Tyler

The Scorpion women golf team posted a disappointing score at the Tyler Junior College Invitational Golf Tournament Tuesday at the Oak Hurst Country Club in Bullard, located just south of Tyler.
UTB/TSC had a two-round total of 370-383=753 for the 36-hole tournament, and finished third out of three teams, well behind the leader.
April Martinez shot a 90-89=179, Tara Calderon 87-98=195, Allison Valles 91-91=182 and Annette Valdez a 102-105=207 for the Scorpions.
The tournament marked the final activity of the fall season for the Scorpions.
