Posted December 10,  2007
The UTB/TSC women's soccer program will be in Toronto, Canada and El Paso, Texas for the first time to evaluate players for the 2008 and 2009 recruiting classes.

Evaluations will be held in Toronto’s Soccer Centre’s full-field indoor soccer facility from 6-8 a.m. Saturday, December 15, and at Burges High School in El Paso from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, December 16.

Individual players as well as teams are invited.

The Scorpion Women's Soccer program had immediate success in its first year, winning the Red River Athletic Conference Tournament.

"We are looking to build on the foundation we have set in our first year, and become nationally recognized and put Brownsville, Texas on the college soccer map as one of the best NAIA teams in the United States," Barjaktarevic said.
