The UTB/TSC Volleyball Scorpions hit the road for the first
time in 2007 to face Texas A&M University-Kingsville, an NCAA Division II
opponent, at 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 29, at the Steinke Center.
The Scorpions are 2-2 on the season after winning two matches at the South Padre Island Invitational Tournament August 24-25. The Scorpions defeated Region VI rivals Texas Wesleyan University (3-0) and Lubbock Christian College (3-1).
UTB/TSC lost to nationally ranked Savannah College of Art and Design and to Bellevue University in the tournament.
TAMUK is 3-1 after winning three matches at the Lenoir-Rhyne/Moretz Sports Volleyball Invitational to equal their best start since 2002.
UTB/TSC and TAMUK split two matches in 2006, with each team winning on its home court.
