Alarcon, Bracero Receive RRAC Player of the Week Honors

hitter Claudia Alarcon and setter Daianarah Bracero received Red
River Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors for the week
October 15-21.
Alarcon was also chosen NAIA Region VI Player of the Week.
Alarcon, a junior from Lima Peru, averaged 3.7 kills per game in three matches for the Scorpions, when they defeated St. Thomas University and Southwestern Assemblies of God University, and lost to Houston Baptist.
In the win over SAGU, she had 22 kills, and had 20 against HBU. For the three matches, she had 53 kills in 113 attempts with 15 errors (.336 hitting percentage).
Bracero, a junior from Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico, had 125 assists in the three matches, including a high of 50 against SAGU. She also had 13 kills, nine service aces and nine blocks during the week.
