The UTB/TSC Scorpions moved up one more position to the No. 18 spot in the newest NAIA National Women’s Volleyball Top 25, released Wednesday, November 7.

UTB/TSC received 113 votes, five more than they received last week when they were ranked No. 19. The Scorpions received 108 votes last week had never received more than 69 votes until that time.

Fresno Pacific continues to lead the national rankings with a 26-1 record.

The Scorpions moved up one spot despite dropping a 3-2 decision to NCAA Division I member University of Texas-Pan American in Edinburg November 1. It was the Scorpions' only game last week.

The ranking is the highest this season for the Scorpions, who are 27-7 and have wrapped up the Red River Athletic Conference South Division crown. UTB/TSC competes in the Red River Athletic Conference Tournament Friday and Saturday in Fort Worth.

UTB/TSC will be the top seed at the RRAC Tournament in Fort Worth November 9-10.
