-- The UTB/TSC women's volleyball swept most of the major Red River
Athletic Conference all-conference selections announced Saturday,
November 10.
Freshman middle blocker Talita Milasauskas, who has 14 double-doubles and four triple-doubles this season, was named RRAC Player of the Year, Front Row Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year. Milasauskas has broken the UTB/TSC school records for kills in one match (31) and kills for one season -– 565 and counting.
Setter Daianarah Bracero was named RRAC Newcomer of the Year. Bracero has also broken school records for assists in one match (64) and assists in one season – 1,512 and counting. Bracero has also broken the school career record for assists in only one season.
Coach Marcus Young was named Coach of the Year.
Milasauskas, Bracero, Alarcon, and Katie Japp were named to the RRAC First Team while Jenny Ashley was named to the Second Team. For Japp, it was her second straight year to be named to the All-Conference First Team.
