Milasauskas Named to NAIA All-Tournament Team

COLUMBIA, Mo. -- Talita Milasauskas was named to the NAIA Women's Volleyball National Championship All-Tournament team in an announcement after the championship match here Saturday, December 1.

Fresno Pacific University defeated California Baptist University, 3-1, in the championship match Saturday night.

The Scorpions, who finished tied for fifth in the nation after a quarterfinal loss to top-ranked Fresno Pacific, would up 3-2 in the tournament, with their only two losses coming to the eventual national champion and eventual national runner-up.

In 17 tournament games, Milasauskas had 75 kills, 38 digs, 10 solo blocks, and 17 assisted blocks. Her best match came in the championship bracket first-round game against Madonna University, when Milasauskas had a triple double with 18 kills, 14 digs and 13 blocks. The 3-1 match win lifted the Scorpions into the quarterfinals.
